1. Start clean

Lips should be dry and free of oils or balm. This prevents slipping and improves hold.

2. Map the shape first

• 
  Define your cupid’s bow (top center)
  
• 
  Mark the bottom center
  
• 
  Lightly outline the corners
  
  This avoids uneven lips.
  

3. Outline with control

Use short, light strokes—don’t draw one long line.

Stay on your natural line or go slightly above (1–2 mm max) for a fuller look.

4. Blend inward

Soften the edges slightly toward the center.

This removes harsh lines and makes it look natural, not drawn.

5. Fill or layer (optional)
